How does a return shipment work?

It's possible that you're not completely satisfied with your order. If you want to return or exchange an item, you can do so within the official period of 14 days after receiving your order, provided that it meets our return conditions.

Products that are returned to Modus Amsterdam under the Dutch Distance Selling Act must be returned in their original condition (and if reasonably possible, including the original packaging). If you do not comply with this, we reserve the right to refuse the return shipment.

Returning the order can be done via the above return label. If the link doesn't work, please send an email to info@modusamsterdam.com or contact us via the contact form on the website. We will then ensure that you receive the form again. Fill in the return form correctly and attach it to the return shipment.

You can then send the package back to the following address: Raiffeisenstraat 36, 4697CG addressed to Modus Amsterdam. The return shipment is at your own risk and cost. For more expensive products, it is advisable to send the return shipment by registered mail.

  • Modus Amsterdam does not provide refunds on sale items.

How long does it take for my return shipment to be processed?

Processing a return shipment can take up to 14 days after receipt. Once your return shipment has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email about it. If you have not received confirmation from us after 14 days, we advise you to contact us via email at info@modusamsterdam.com or via the contact form on the website.

Exchange

When exchanging, it's possible to choose between two different options. Please indicate this clearly on the return form:

  • You request a refund for the returned item. You will be responsible for the return shipment. Once we receive the return shipment, we will refund the amount to your account. After that, you can order the new desired item again.

  • You request a voucher code for the returned item. You will be responsible for the return shipment. Once we receive the return shipment, we will provide you with a voucher code worth the purchase amount. You can then use this code when checking out your next order, and the amount will be deducted from your current total amount.
